        1997-                      Title: Systems And Technology Specialist
                                Activities: Maintain the current library technology systems. Collaborate with
                                                  technology planning groups to aid and plan the libraries move into
                                                  the online information age. Some of the tools to make this move are
                                                  realm management for dial in service, online card catalogs, online
                                                  information delivery, electronic mail systems, direct Internet connection.
                                                  One on one training in the libraries. Set up and test various systems,
                                                  software, and hardware, and conduct various training sessions in
                                                  Novell 3.12 and 4.11, internet technology in our training center as required.

   

        1994-1997  Department: Information Systems
                                       Title: Systems And Networking Manager
                                Activities:Maintain, program, support, VMS systems, IBM PC systems,
                                                 Macintosh Systems, Novell 3.X systems. Novell 4.X systems,
                                                 Internet connectivity Servers, Including DNS, RARP, BOOTP,
                                                 DHCP, SMTP, and Web (HTTP). We maintained a 24 X 7
                                                 network, 2000 + users, with a staff of 3 full time people, and 4
                                                 students. I Authored Service Plans and Management Plans to
                                                 maintain the Campus hardware, which included 800+ IBM PCs,
                                                 200+ MAC PCs, 10+ Unix PCs, Multiple VMS systems clustered,
                                                 VAX and ALPHA technology, many Printers, Scanners, networks,
                                                 servers, Hubs, Routers etc. with a budget of $120,000 a year. I also
                                                 taught 1 student per semester Novell 3.12 networking under a
                                                 government internship program.

                                     Title: Systems Analyst, Systems Programmer, Systems Manager,
                             Activities: Maintain, program, support, VMS systems, IBM PC systems, Macintosh
                                               Systems, Novell 3.X systems. User support for Windows 3.x, WordPerfect
                                               products, Microsoft products.

    1982-1989   Department: Product Assurance
                                     Title: Design Assurance Engineer
                             Activities: Perform prediction and FMECA analysis per MIL-HNBK-217D. Author program
                                               plans for U.S. Navy. Set product assurance bids, including Quality Assurance time
                                               and reliability time, for U.S. Naval contracts. Develop a Statistical Process Control
                                               program, installing and writing software for the department. Supervised 6 inspectors.

    1977-1982   Department: Engineering
                                     Title: R & D, Asst. Electrical Engineer
                             Activities: Design the sonar transmitter for the Q90 Sonobuoy. Troubleshoot the analog and
                                               digital board design. Set up production lines, train personnel and supervise the
                                               production of the first 200 buoys.

                                     Title: Communication Specialist 313.10 MOS (Radio Repair Technician)
                              Activites: Maintain and repair 2-way radios and support equipment at battalion level
                                               while stationed in Korea.
